Platinum Pick: Colts -3
The Indianapolis Colts are a great team. The Bills are a good
team. The Colts have Marvin Harrison out, but are firing on all
cylinders. Peyton Manning may be playing his best football ever
hasn't missed a beat with the emergence of WR Reggie Wayne. The
Bills are unpredictable but are not 100% and have not played their
best when it counted. This week it counts. COLTS -3

Steelers+3
Patriots -5.5
Seahawks +3
The Titans over the Falcons is my biggest mismatch of the week.
It would be my Platinum pick but IM always weary of giving up a
full TD. That said Steve McNair and company are plying great
football. Even with the offense struggling a little bit last week
the defense played great when the game was on the line and they
got the win. This week I look for things to come a little easier
against the helpless Falcons. Not only will the Titans win the
game, but their Defense will outscore the Falcons. TITANS -7
Steelers need this game. They finally have the offense line back
to normal and Maddox can count on WR Hines Ward to fight for
yardage all game long. He gives them extra options in 3rd down
situations. This match up is always a tough and close, typical of
divisional games. I think the Steelers will win the game so I
obviously like them getting 3 points! STEELERS +3
Are the Patriots the team with the most heart? They have a great
young QB in Tom Brady who is finally healthy or so it appears.
Each week this team goes out and wins close games. They shut down
the Cowboys last week. I think they can contain the young WRs of
the Texans and force them to run the ball more than planned. The
Pats defensive line should get a good push when they need it and
control the important 3rd down situations. Their defense has a way
of forcing the issue. When they find a weakness they exploit it
and change the game totally. Often making it boring, but whatever
it takes to win. I like the Patriots to shut down the Texans as
they did the Cowboys. PATRIOTS -5.5
The Seahawks are coming off an excellent offensive performance.
Although it was against the Detroit Lions they needed that to get
rolling. That was the first game the offense line was back to
normal and playing good. This week I look for the Seahawks defense
to make the difference. It shouldn't be too hard. The Ravens
should be starting QB Anthony Wright who was cut by the Cowboys
for many reasons. Even with this game being in Baltimore I don't
understand why they are a 3 point favorite. Oddly I like a bunch
of underdogs & road teams this week but they all look good! The
Seahawks should be a favorite or at least this should be even.
