Platinum Pick: SAINTS -1.5
The Saints are playing great football. QB - Aaron Brooks and
RB – Deuce Mc-TD are playing exceptionally well. The Saints
have been getting better and better each week and are almost in
playoff form. The Buccs on the other hand have been getting worse
and worse. Keyshawn Johnson doesn’t give 100% unless his
team is competitive and can win. That is why he was becoming a
problem. He was removed but their problems are more evident than
ever with injuries all over the line-up the Buccs on the road
should be no match for the Saints this week. SAINTS -1.5
RAMS -4
JETS +3
CHIEFS +3
JAGUARS -5
The RAMS are playing great. Bulger is unstoppable at home and
should use this opportunity to prove he can play anywhere. This
is a big game for the Rams who are playing for home field advantage
in the playoffs. For the Rams it would be the biggest advantage
in the NFL as they are considerably better and dominant at home.
The Browns are slipping into the gutter and they will be without
star RB and any kind of run game is going to be virtually impossible.
Without a RB or KJ who they released they have NOBODY to bring
the safeties up. Whether the Browns start bozo the clown at QB
this week or whoever, they will have a hard time moving the ball
and scoring against a very tough Rams Defense. RAMS -4
The JETS are a playoff team with Chad Pennington in the line
up and they stink without him. The players step up and feel like
they have a chance and it shows. There may be a few injuries this
week including Sam Cowart but Even if, I not worried. I expect
Chad to keep the offense on the field. The offensive line is starting
to play very good as is e everyone. They have a purpose again.
The Bills on the other hand have been struggling aside from a
"gimmie" victory against the Giants, and I expect the Jets to bring
intensity the Bills have not seen since week 1 when they blew
out the Patriots. JETS +3
The CHIEFS are still one of the premier teams in the league.
They win close games. That’s how they win. They will do
it again. The Broncos may be at Mile High but they also have a
few injuries and have not been dominant or played a really tough
game in a while. Vermeil is a better coach and the Chiefs are
a more complete team. CHIEFS +3
The JAGUARS are getting better each week. Last week they beat
the Buccs which apparently doesn’t say much, but they are
rolling. Kevin Johnson is a perfect fit and the offense is playing
great. The Texans have been a much tougher team than expected
also however they have relied heavily on rookie RB Dominick Davis
and he is doubtful with a neck injury this week. The Texans are
just too banged up to go into Jacksonville and win. I think the
Jags will open it up in the second half. JAGUARS -5
