Platinum Pick: Ravens -6
The RAVENS are playing great football and are streaking in the
middle of a playoff race. They are well coached and have one of
the best defenses in the NFL and lets not forget about a top run
game led by Jamal Lewis. All the things you look for when the
weather gets cold and crunch time is approaching. The Ravens should
capitalize on both sides of the ball this week.
Patriots -6
Bengals -3
Packers -5
Jets -3
The Pats are the hottest team in the NFL. They have won 9 game
in a row after a 2-2 start triggered by a week 1 blowout at the
hands of the Bills. The Patriots are also a very well coached
team with a great defense. On offense they do it with efficiency.
I think this will be a closer game than the score indicates...
PATRIOTS -7
The Bengals are very tough at home and they are on a playoff missions.
Well coached and a very tough defense. QB John Kitna is running
the offense with total efficiency and WR Chad Johnson is running
wild. Counterpart Peter Warrick is explosive on kickoffs and under
coverage in the short game. Both WR can beat you deep and Kitna
is not shy, he will throw it up and they will catch a few. Corey
Dillon has been running very strong. The 49ers are playing out
the rest of the season instead of competing. BENGALS -3
The Packers are one of the teams I normally play for or against.
But this week I think Favre will not make mistakes and the Packers
will come out running the ball strong. The Chargers season was
over a long time ago and their defense lacked intensity all year.
PACKERS -5
The JETS are playing much better football. Last week they didn't
appear in rythem as they didn't the previous week. I don't think
Chad Pennington has had two bad games in a row in his life. I
expect him to have a big game. Santana Moss can burn everyone
in the Steelers secondary and they should play a good game. JETS
