Rick's Platinum Pick of the week: Steelers -4.5 The return of Jerry Porter should bring an emotional lift to
the Steelers, which means back to reality for the over achieving
yet still unsuccessful Bengals. It’s going to be 0 wins
and 3 losses for Bengals as the Steelers may even break out their
run game led by Amos Zereoue. Counterpart Jerome Bettis may get
to run the ball as well. QB Tommy Maddox has been explosive with
WR Hines Ward and Plaxico Burres. I think this game will become
a laugher early, unlike last week when the Bengals tested the
“injured up Raiders” to the limit and still lost.
Steelers -4.5 Colts -7.5 Patriots - 6.5 In the Colts - Jaguars game I am looking for Peyton Manning and Marvin Harrison to reassert themselves as top TD connection. Manning always terrorizes the Jaguars. Edgerrin James needs to play well and he should. The Circus is in town this week at Indy (I mean the Jaguars) and it should be just what the Colts prolific offense needs to get rolling. The Colts defense is right where they should have been last year, but Dungy deserves credit (Finally). COLTS -7.5 In the Packers - Cardinals I am looking for one of the all time
great QBs (Bret Favre) to quietly put up respectable numbers while
his monster running back (Ahman Green) racks up 150 yards and 2
TDs. The Cardinals offense is horrible but not as horrible as
their defense. PACKERS -8 Rick's Over/Under Picks: Over Vikings - Lions @ 45 Ricks "Money Pick of the week." Steelers Colts Bills 100 points for 390 points Cover Pick's: Steelers Colts Dolphins 100 points for 205 points Silly Pick of the Week: Giants 20 points for 376 points
