Rick's Platinum Pick of the week: Redskins -3
Panthers -6 The Panthers are coming off a bye week and Mad Defensive Genius coach John Fox has had plenty of time to study the Falcons. The Panthers will take advantage of Doug Johnson and the lacking Falcons offense. Special teams could make this a blowout. The Colts are one of the top defenses in the league behind specialist Tony Dungy. Marvin Harrison has been shut out and that won't last. Manning will get him the ball and the Colts should beat the struggling Saints. The Chiefs are simply the best team in the NFL. This is a huge test but I think they should win. Priest is a good match-up against the Ravens LBs believe it or not. This is the big test for Vermeil and his "system" and if the Chiefs win this game they have a shot at going undefeated barring injury. The Cowboys are better than people will give them credit for. Much of it has to do with Coach Bill Parcells. The Tuna has made bad teams look good and good teams look great. The Cowboys just left beat the Giants in the Meadowlands and they should beat up on the Jets. This should be easier than expected and the Cowboys should be the favorite. Rick's Over/Under Picks: Over - Rams vs. Cardinals @ 44.5 Ricks "Money Pick of the week." Panther 100 points for 485 points Cover Pick's: Panthers 100 points for 265 points Silly Pick of the Week: Chargers 20 points for 262 points
