Platinum Pick of the week:
Buccaneers -3
The Buccs are getting better on offense every week. With Sapp and
company picking their game up recently, and the 49ers offensive
line looking questionable I Jeff Garcia will have a tough day.
Buccs defense creates turnovers and they score twice because of
them. They may have lost Alstott but the Buccs wasted no time
signing FB Cecil Martin to open up holes for Michael Pittman.
Pittman has been getting better and better in Gruden's system and
he should only increase his efficiency with more touches. Buccs
should keep this game out of reach from the start.
Gold Picks:
Cowboys -3
Seahawks -10.5
Chiefs -4
Saints -3
The Dallas Cowboys feel like they can win the game every week
regardless of their opponent. Well figure in the fact that this
weeks opponent stinks and this game is a no brainer. They have
been successful against sub par teams so far and here comes another
one. Look for Quincy to play well enough and the Dallas defense
to step it up again for the win. Cowboys -3
The Seattle Seahawks had a few tough games without the offensive
line 100% and they should feel relief now. Holmgren will get back
to his normal play calling. The defense is much tougher when rested.
If Hasselbeck gets protection which he should, he will control
the ball and the clock. A rested Seahawk defense should have no
problem shutting down the Bears especially without Kordel. Seahawks
Roll with big plays on Offense, Defense and Special Teams. SEATTLE
-10.5
I am not too big on the Saints this year with good reason, however
this week is a little different. Injuries have rattled the Saints
all year. This week they will go into Atlanta and challenge a
Rookie QB making his first ever start for a team that has been
blown out and embarrassed frequently this year. As long as the
saints can contain T.J. Duckett they will grab a road win. SAINTS
-3
Finally I like the Chiefs against the Raiders on Monday Night.
This goes against my rules but its ok. The Raiders are horrible
and even though they have a DOMINANT record on Monday Night
Football.
I don't think the Chiefs are scared. This team win, that's what
they do, win games. Prime Time, on the Road, CHIEFS -4
